The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs duties under direction of a clinical supervisor (RN/LVN/Physician/APRN/PA) to assist in examination and treatment of individuals served at the clinical site. The CMA makes interpretations and exercises some discretion in routine situations. The CMA provides direct care with utmost customer service, compassion, and integrity to individuals in a clinic setting.
Requires Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) registered to provide services in the state of Texas. *Please upload a copy of the CCMA cert.*
Available schedules for full-time (Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm) and PRN (depends on business need).
The purpose of this job is to assist clients with chronic mental illness and/or IDD in obtaining Social Security Disability Benefits through clear, effective and efficient Medicaid Policy and Programs. This position is responsible for all aspects of complex disability claim handling, such eligibility criteria, medical and financial analysis, benefit determinations, denials and hearing representation at the Office of Disability and Adjudication Review (ODAR) as well as the Social Security Administration (SSA) claim level. This job involves fact checking, record keeping and advocacy on behalf of their clients. It follows established policies & procedures.
Crisis Intervention Team Specialist
Starting Salary: $21.02 hourly; $43,721 annually

General Description
The position of CIT Specialist is a Crisis Intervention Team assignment where you will be partnered with a police officer assigned from the El Paso Police Department, a Deputy with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, or an officer with the Socorro Police Department that will respond to mental health crisis calls throughout the community and will offer crisis intervention, stabilization, and assessment services while in the field. This unit is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Work involves developing short-term contact with clients, client families, and service providers for medical, social, educational, and related service needs.
This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
